The Hard Rock Cafe reopened on November 1st 2022 with a hot house band you can read about on our Hot Acts page. The famous Bangla Road walking street is now nearly back to normal. It’s a bit quiet by usual standards, but it’s fast getting busier and noisier!
The Red Hot Bar at the Jung Ceylon end has a house band competently knocking out the western cover songs while further down you’ll find The New York Bar and the Sweeties Bar with others doing the same thing.
Further on still and you’ll find the Dublin Irish Bar in a quieter zone has bands. Turn left at the end and walk south down the quieter Beach Road and Molly’s Irish Bar awaits you with bands and ensembles.
The Hippie Road Bar in 200 Year Road is now doing rock music and has to be a whole lot cheaper than the Hard Rock if that’s an issue! It has Classic Rock music of a high quality most nights.
