Kamala is a bit limited when it comes to live music at the moment. Best bet for bands is the Tigger Bar on the main road by the traffic lights. There may be a band, but there definitely will be lots of charming young girls to welcome you! The two bars opposite sometimes have bands playing.
Check out the Kokonuss Bar a hundred meters away which has an open mic on Sundays.
Other than that, go look around!
